Dear Patient,
After over 40 years, we regretfully must inform you that our practice has decided to end our contract with Highmark Insurance Plans effective October 31st, 2025.
What does this mean for you? It means we will no longer be an in-network provider for Highmark Insurance plans. We are aware and saddened that this will impact access to specialized care for many long-term patients. We will continue to attempt to negotiate with Highmark in hopes that a more adequate and fair agreement can be reached.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to get in touch with Highmark Member Services, this number can be found on the back of your insurance card. You can let them know:
- You are disappointed about their inability to come to terms with ENT Specialists of Nw Pa and keep us in their network.
- The exclusion of ENT Specialists of Nw Pa is unacceptable and could severely disrupt the continued quality ENT care our Physicians provide to the community and surrounding areas.
- It may also be helpful to notify your employer about this situation with Highmark.
It is through your efforts and ours that Highmark will make the right choice to retain our in-network status so we can continue to provide exceptional care to you without interruption.
If you are currently under care for an issue that will need continued office visits, you may still be able to visit our office as an in-network provider until your treatment and/or post-operative care is completed. We recommend you call Highmark and request a Continuity of Care form (COC) in case we are unable to come to an agreement.
